Neuroscience, the study of brain development has recently discoveried that remarkable changes and profound growth occur in the brain during adolecence . Permenent connections are established in the brain during this period. Therefore if an adolescent plays a musical instrument or practices sports together with his/her aacdemic studies these are the connections that will remain for life. On the contrary, if teenagers mainly lie on a couch , watch TV and play video games those are the cells and connections that will survive . Now , think about the activities that you do now.
